Learning how to use a USB microscope is easy even for kids. Teaching Kids How to Use a USB Microscope

Make sure your kid understand just how fragile microscopes are, even USB portable ones, and the various dos and don’ts for using it.

Step 1 Start teaching your kid how to prepare a slide first. Make sure he knows how to properly place samples or specimens on slides and how to stain them, if this is necessary. Make them understand why staining is necessary and how to determine the right staining material.

Step 6 Most USB microscopes will allow your kids to edit photographs using the buttons found on the camera’s control panel. There are several drawing and painting options available to help your kids label their photos correctly.

Step 7 Now that your kid knows how to use the digital and regular functions of his USB microscope, it’s time to teach him how to connect it to the computer. Teach him the various things he could do with the images he’s taken with the help of available applications in your computer.

Step 8 Last but not the least, make sure that your kids how to clean their USB microscopes properly, emphasizing the need to use only specially designed cleaning tools and solutions for microscopes and which parts should be left for professionals to clean.
